The Sacramento Historical Society offers engaging programs, signature dinner events, and trivia nights that bring our city’s past to life through dynamic speakers, rare stories, and groundbreaking research that elevate our city’s history on a national stage. Attend one of our programs and experience Sacramento like never before, connecting with history, community, and the stories that make our city unique.
Monthly Programs
Held on the fourth Tuesday of each month (with the exception of our summer break in July and August). Unless otherwise noted, programs begin at 6:30pm and take place at Columbus Hall, 5961 Newman Ct, Sacramento, CA 95819.
Signature Dinner Programs
Our immersive dinner programs take place four times a year in March, June, September, and December, combining history, food, and fellowship for a memorable evening. Dinner is generally served at 6:15pm with the program beginning at 6:30pm. These special events also take place at Columbus Hall, 5961 Newman Ct, Sacramento, CA 95819, unless otherwise noted.
Sacramento History Trivia Night
Join us on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00pm at The Trap Bar, 6125 Riverside Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95831, for a lively, social night of Sacramento-themed trivia.
