Attend one of our programs and experience Sacramento like never before. Each month, the Sacramento Historical Society brings the past to life through dynamic speakers, rare stories, and groundbreaking research that elevate our city’s history on a national stage.

We host a new program every month—with the exception of our summer break in July and August. Throughout the year, four of these gatherings take the shape of our signature dinner programs in March, June, September, and December, offering an immersive evening of food, community, and historical discovery.
