Just 6 Days Away - Once In A Lifetime
Please join the Sacramento Historical Society in person, Tuesday November 26th, 5:30 PM at Sacramento’s California Military Department Headquarters for this groundbreaking public access, Ukraine discussion, SHS Program, and tour.
Due to a variety of logistical and security reasons, this program will NOT be on ZOOM.
This program is FREE to SHS Members. If you are having difficulty obtaining a FREE SHS member ticket to this event, please call or text Gregg Lukenbill ASAP at 916-799-2400 and I will personally get this resolved for you, immediately!
Located at: 10601 Bear Hollow Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA
Doors Open At 5:30 PM
Like the 1926 downtown Elks building, this new HQ building WILL be there 100 years from now!
This spectacular new facility, serves as the headquarters for the 24,000 service members and civilian employees of the California Army and Air National Guard, California State Guard, and youth and Community programs.
This is an extraordinary once in a lifetime pioneering Sacramento civilian inaugural event that will never happen again, for a myriad of security and complexity reasons. Moreover, I am proud to say that our own Norcal native, Major General Matthew P. Beevers, California Adjutant General will be opening the program with a brief California & Ukraine discussion, followed by a California Military historical program, and likely the only self-guided non-military public tour ever to be conducted in this building for our post-program SHS self guided walking through 175 years of artifacts.
Please join us. One of this History's Clock, Lifetime Memories.
